Event Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: September 17, 2025
These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the 2026 U.S. BankTech Summit (the “Event”) hosted by TreaSolution, Inc. d/b/a Converge Events (“TreaSolution”). By registering for or attending the Event, including any bundled registration that includes this Event, the individual registrant (“Attendee”) and their employer (if applicable) agree to be legally bound by the following terms. Attendees must be at least 18 years of age and certify their eligibility to participate.
1. Content Disclaimer and Responsibility for Verification
The content delivered at the Event is for informational purposes only and should not be construed as professional, legal, or financial advice. Attendees and their employers are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy, completeness, and applicability of any information presented. TreaSolution, its speakers, and affiliates do not warrant or guarantee any outcomes resulting from the use or application of this content.
2. Recording and Materials Usage
Recording of any session in any format, including audio, video, or screen capture, is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from TreaSolution. All Event content, including presentations, materials, and handouts, is protected by copyright and may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared without explicit written permission.
3. Ownership and Use of Materials
TreaSolution retains exclusive ownership of all materials, including digital content and audiovisual recordings. Attendees and their employers may not distribute, disclose, or reuse any Event materials or media in any format without written approval.
4. Media Release and Consent to Recording
By participating in the Event, Attendees grant TreaSolution the unrestricted, perpetual, and worldwide right to record, photograph, use, edit, and distribute their image, voice, name, and likeness captured during the Event for promotional, educational, and commercial purposes without compensation or notification.
5. Health and Safety; Assumption of Risk
Attendees voluntarily assume all risks associated with attending an in-person event, including but not limited to exposure to illness or injury. By attending, Attendees and their employers release TreaSolution, its affiliates, staff, and partners from any claims, damages, or liability arising out of or related to personal injury, illness, or adverse health outcomes incurred at or during the Event. Attendees agree to comply with all local, venue, and CDC-recommended health and safety protocols.
6. Attendee Communications and Data Sharing
By registering, Attendees consent to receive communications from TreaSolution and relevant third parties regarding the Event. TreaSolution reserves the right to share limited contact information (name, title, organization, email, phone number, etc.) with Event sponsors and partners for legitimate business purposes.
7. Modifications to Terms
TreaSolution reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The most recent version will be posted on the Event website at https://usbanktechsummit.com/event-terms-and-conditions/. Continued participation or registration implies acceptance of the latest version.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
The Event is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties. TreaSolution disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Neither TreaSolution nor its affiliates shall be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from participation in the Event.
9. Event Changes, Cancellation, and Force Majeure
TreaSolution reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the Event, including content, speakers, schedule, or format. In the event of cancellation or rescheduling due to circumstances beyond TreaSolution’s control (including force majeure events such as natural disasters, public health emergencies, or venue unavailability), no refunds will be issued for bundled registrations. TreaSolution will make reasonable efforts to offer alternative participation options, such as transfer or rescheduling, if feasible.
10. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Refunds for individual Event registrations must be requested in writing by email to julie.sweeney@convergeevents.com by 12:00 PM CST on September 28, 2026. After this date, all individual registrations become non-refundable. Bundled registrations are strictly non-refundable. For bundled packages, substitution to another employee within the same organization is permitted if submitted in writing by November 15, 2026.
11. Bundle Registration and Transfer Policy
Bundled registrations, which may include access to other events such as the Fintech Risk & Compliance Forum, U.S. Fintech Symposium, or Treasury Leadership Summit, are final and non-refundable. Transfers to another employee within the same organization are permitted if requested by November 15, 2026, in writing to julie.sweeney@convergeevents.com.
12. Speaker and Program Modifications
TreaSolution reserves the right to change the speaker lineup, session topics, or schedule as needed. Such changes do not entitle Attendees to refunds or compensation.
13. Indemnification
Attendees and their employers agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TreaSolution, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of the Attendee’s or employer’s participation in the Event or violation of these Terms.
14. Jurisdiction and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes arising under or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Cook County, Illinois. Before initiating legal action, the parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiations. If legal action is initiated and TreaSolution prevails, it shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs. Any dispute initiated more than one year after the Event shall be deemed waived.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force. An unenforceable clause will be replaced with one that reflects the original intent as closely as possible.
16. Final Review
All Attendees are responsible for reviewing the most current version of these Terms and Conditions prior to the Event. Participation constitutes full acceptance.
