Hudson Valley Credit Union’s Durai Rajamanickam Joins Generative AI Discussion

Durai Rajamanickam, Vice President of Artificial Intelligence at Hudson Valley Credit Union, joins the U.S. BankTech Summit as a panelist discussing generative AI, productivity, risk management, and personalization in financial services.

Durai Rajamanickam is focused on a challenge facing financial institutions as they expand their use of artificial intelligence: moving beyond individual pilots to establish AI capabilities that deliver measurable business value while meeting enterprise risk and compliance requirements.

As Vice President of Artificial Intelligence at Hudson Valley Credit Union, Durai works at the intersection of AI innovation, governance, and enterprise transformation. This December, he will bring that experience to the 2026 U.S. BankTech Summit as a panelist discussing the practical applications and risks of generative AI in financial services.

At Hudson Valley Credit Union, Durai drives enterprise AI strategy, agentic AI deployment, and model risk governance. His work focuses on building the governance, execution, and measurement processes needed to support AI adoption across an organization rather than limiting its impact to isolated projects.

Durai also brings experience as an AI Governance and Enterprise Risk Advisor, helping credit unions evaluate AI use cases and technology vendors, establish appropriate controls, and develop reporting for executive leadership and boards. His approach emphasizes protecting member information, maintaining human accountability, and helping risk and compliance teams incorporate AI into their work responsibly.

Before joining Hudson Valley Credit Union, Durai led AI and machine learning transformation initiatives across consulting organizations and industries including financial services, healthcare, wealth management, and life sciences. His experience across regulated environments informs his approach to balancing innovation with operational discipline.

We are pleased to welcome Durai to the U.S. BankTech Summit speaker lineup. His experience translating AI strategy into enterprise implementation will add a valuable perspective to a discussion about where generative AI is producing results and what financial institutions must consider as adoption grows.

Durai will participate in the panel discussion, “Generative AI in Action: Productivity, Risk, and Personalization.”

The session will explore how financial institutions are applying generative AI across operations, compliance, and customer experience. Panelists will discuss use cases involving fraud detection, service automation, and product design, examining where AI is delivering measurable improvements and where implementation challenges remain.

Beyond individual applications, the discussion will consider how institutions can evaluate the business value of AI investments while managing risk. As organizations move toward broader deployment, effective governance, oversight, and measurement become increasingly important to ensuring AI initiatives support business objectives.

Durai’s background in enterprise AI transformation and model risk governance will contribute a practical perspective on connecting emerging technology with the operational requirements of financial institutions. His experience with agentic AI deployment and enterprise controls will also help inform the conversation around responsible adoption at scale.

We look forward to welcoming Durai Rajamanickam to the 2026 U.S. BankTech Summit and hearing his insights alongside other financial services and technology leaders.
