KreditIQ CEO Michael Persichini to Discuss Real-World Generative AI Applications

Michael Persichini, CEO and Co-Founder of KreditIQ, joins the 2026 U.S. BankTech Summit as a panelist discussing generative AI, banking productivity, risk management, and personalization. KreditIQ is a Gold Sponsor.

Artificial intelligence is creating new opportunities for financial institutions, but the real challenge is determining which applications deliver measurable business value. From improving lending efficiency to strengthening fraud prevention, banks are increasingly focused on practical AI solutions that support productivity, manage risk, and maintain human oversight.

Michael Persichini, CEO and Co-Founder of KreditIQ, will bring his experience across commercial banking, fintech, and AI-powered financial services to the 2026 U.S. BankTech Summit as a panelist for “Generative AI in Action: Productivity, Risk, and Personalization.”

KreditIQ is also a Gold Sponsor of the 2026 U.S. BankTech Summit, supporting conversations about the technologies and strategies shaping the future of banking.

The conference will take place December 7 to 9, 2026, in Oak Brook, Illinois, bringing together banking executives, technology leaders, and financial services professionals to explore innovation, digital transformation, and operational excellence.

Michael brings more than 20 years of commercial banking experience, including roles at HSBC and RBS/Citizens, where he developed a firsthand understanding of credit decision-making, borrower relationships, and the operational realities of lending.

His career subsequently expanded into fintech, where he helped drive a 55% increase in small and medium-sized business loan originations at Bluevine. He later served as Head of Growth and Sales at Effectiv.ai, now part of Socure, helping scale AI-driven fraud detection and risk decisioning solutions.

Today, as CEO and Co-Founder of KreditIQ, Michael leads a company focused on helping banks and credit unions make faster, more informed lending decisions through AI-powered credit intelligence.

KreditIQ transforms complex loan documentation into trusted information, explainable risk scores, and source-backed credit memos. Its platform operates within each institution’s credit policies, keeping final lending decisions in the hands of experienced professionals.

Michael’s approach to AI emphasizes measurable outcomes, responsible implementation, and maintaining the human judgment essential to effective risk management. He has seen how generative AI can improve productivity, strengthen fraud defenses, and support more personalized lending, while also recognizing where additional safeguards remain necessary.

He holds an MBA from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management.

The U.S. BankTech Summit is pleased to welcome Michael to its 2026 speaker lineup. His experience across traditional banking and emerging financial technologies will contribute a practical perspective to discussions about where AI is delivering value and where institutions should proceed with caution.

Michael will participate in the panel discussion, “Generative AI in Action: Productivity, Risk, and Personalization.”

The session will examine how banks are applying generative AI across operations, compliance, and customer experience, with particular attention to fraud detection, service automation, and product design.

Panelists will discuss which applications are producing measurable results, how institutions are evaluating the benefits of AI adoption, and where operational, regulatory, and implementation risks require careful management.

As financial institutions expand their AI initiatives, understanding how to balance efficiency gains with transparency, accountability, and effective oversight remains an important priority.

Michael’s background in commercial lending, fraud technology, and AI-powered decisioning positions him to contribute insights into both the opportunities and limitations of these technologies.

In addition to Michael’s participation, KreditIQ is supporting the conference as a Gold Sponsor. The company’s focus on explainable credit intelligence and human-led decision-making aligns with the summit’s emphasis on practical innovation that strengthens financial institutions.

We appreciate KreditIQ’s Gold Sponsorship and look forward to welcoming Michael and the KreditIQ team to Oak Brook.
