He is also a frequent speaker at technology and leadership conferences, where he shares practical insights on modernizing complex technology environments. Aman holds a master’s degree in Information Technology from Northwestern University.
We are pleased to have Aman joining this year’s U.S. BankTech Summit as a moderator. His background in enterprise architecture and mission-critical systems will bring a relevant practitioner perspective to a conversation that many banking technology executives are navigating within their own institutions.
Aman will moderate the peer-to-peer session, “Core Modernization: Strategies, Risks, and Roadmaps.”
Legacy core banking systems continue to present challenges for institutions looking to expand real-time banking capabilities, introduce open APIs, and support new digital services. While modernization can create opportunities for greater flexibility and innovation, it also introduces questions about operational risk, implementation timelines, and the complexity of upgrading systems that support essential banking functions.
The session will bring banking technology executives together to discuss how their institutions are approaching core modernization, including the strategies guiding their decisions and the challenges encountered during implementation.
Participants will compare modernization roadmaps, discuss approaches to managing technology and operational risks, and share lessons learned from system upgrades. The conversation will also examine expectations for technology vendors and internal teams as institutions work through complex modernization initiatives.
With his experience in cloud architecture, platform modernization, and building resilient technology systems, Aman will help guide a discussion focused on the practical considerations behind core banking transformation.
We look forward to welcoming Aman Sardana to the U.S. BankTech Summit and hearing the perspectives shared during this peer-to-peer conversation.
