Exploring Generative AI in Banking with Esteban Felipe at U.S. BankTech Summit

Esteban Felipe, Product Manager at US Claro, joins the U.S. BankTech Summit as a panelist discussing generative AI, productivity, risk, and personalization in banking.

From developing generative AI-powered products to leading enterprise technology initiatives, Esteban Felipe has spent his career working on the practical applications of emerging technologies. This December, he will bring that experience to the 2026 U.S. BankTech Summit as a panelist discussing the opportunities and challenges of generative AI in banking.

Esteban is a Product Manager at US Claro, where he drives strategy for next-generation platforms and services supporting modernization, operational resilience, and scalable growth. We are pleased to welcome him to the U.S. BankTech Summit speaker lineup and recognize Claro Enterprise Solutions as a Platinum Sponsor of this year’s conference.

Esteban’s background spans high-growth startups and global technology organizations, with experience in SaaS platforms, AI-driven solutions, workflow automation, and large-scale digital transformation. Throughout his career, he has led the development of complex software products, delivered successful launches, and contributed to three company exits.

Previously, Esteban served as Vice President of Product Management at 8base, where he oversaw the development of Archie, a generative AI-powered Product Architect. Working closely with engineering teams and early customers, he helped advance the platform’s development and adoption.

His experience also includes leading AI-driven information governance and compliance initiatives at Everteam and shaping enterprise product experiences at Appify.

At the U.S. BankTech Summit, Esteban will participate in the panel discussion, “Generative AI in Action: Productivity, Risk, and Personalization.”

Financial institutions are exploring how generative AI can improve productivity, strengthen operations, and create more personalized customer experiences. However, the results vary depending on the institution, the application, and the challenges involved in implementation.

The panel will examine how banks are applying generative AI across fraud detection, service automation, and product design. Participants will discuss which applications are producing measurable results, where opportunities remain, and which areas require additional caution.

The conversation will also address the balance between innovation and risk as institutions consider how to integrate AI into existing operations while maintaining appropriate oversight.

Esteban’s experience developing AI-powered products and working across enterprise technology environments will bring a practical perspective to the discussion, particularly around translating emerging technology into solutions that support business objectives.

We look forward to welcoming Esteban and the Claro Enterprise Solutions team to the U.S. BankTech Summit, taking place December 7 to 9, 2026, in Oak Brook, Illinois.
