Dipankar Saha, Principal Solutions Architect at RBC Wealth Management, will join the 2026 U.S. BankTech Summit as a moderator, bringing more than 20 years of experience in software engineering and enterprise architecture to the conversation.

Dipankar has more than 15 years of experience within financial services and has led the architecture of large-scale digital platforms spanning client websites and mobile applications, banking and lending, client onboarding, identity and access management, cloud modernization, and enterprise data solutions.
His work has supported platforms serving hundreds of thousands of clients and financial professionals while addressing the security, resilience, regulatory, and integration demands that come with operating within a complex financial institution. Dipankar is also an IEEE Senior Member and a Fellow of the British Computer Society.
At the U.S. BankTech Summit, Dipankar will moderate “Peer-to-Peer: Modernizing the Bank Technology Stack: What Actually Needs to Change?”
The discussion will examine a challenge technology leaders continue to navigate: how to modernize while maintaining critical systems that are still performing reliably. Participants will compare how they are deciding what to replace, what to integrate, and what makes sense to leave in place.
The conversation will cover legacy architecture, APIs, middleware, cloud adoption, vendor dependencies, technical debt, and how modernization priorities are being sequenced across the bank.
Dipankar’s extensive background in enterprise architecture and financial services technology will bring a valuable practitioner perspective to a discussion focused on making thoughtful modernization decisions while managing the realities of complex technology environments.
